Precor USA is subsidiary company of a Finnish sporting goods company named Amer Sports Corporation that also provides other well brands such as Salomon, Wilson Sporting Goods, Suunto, Mavic, and Atomic Skis. The parent company was formed in 1950 as an industrial conglomerate with diverse interested in ship ownership, publishing and oddly enough even tobacco which doesn't seem very healthy at all. Precor USA is headquartered in Woodinville, Washington and is credited with manufacturing the first mass production elliptical trainer.
