The WaterRower A1 Home rowing machine is handcrafted in premium Ash hardwood with a sleek aluminum monorail design.
Each machine is left unstained and has been hand finished in Danish Oil to provide a deep luster and warmth to the wood. For reasons of ecology, all our woods are harvested from replenishable forests..

Rowing has long been recognized as the perfect aerobic pursuit, with naturally smooth and flowing movements that don't tax the joints but do boost the heart rate. Now you can take your in-home rowing experience to the next level with the Water Rower A1 Home rowing machine.

The WaterRower A1 Home is equipped with the WaterFlywheel and an A1 4 Performance Monitor. The WaterRower A1 Studio Rowing Machine is specifically designed to be lightweight, portable, space saving and vertically stack-able. In fact, 3 A1 rowing machines can be stored vertically in the same amount space as ONE indoor cycling bike!


WaterFlywheel:

The WaterRower’s unique WaterFlywheel has been designed to reproduce the precise physical dynamics of a moving boat; the surest way to replicate the physiological benefits and aesthetic pleasure of rowing. The WaterFlywheel’s uniform mass produces a constant effort through the whole stroke, spreading the work more evenly over the muscle groups. Water is 800 times denser than air, and there is therefore no need for extraneous adjustments. Like rowing, the WaterFlywheel’s resistance is increased by increasing speed. If you want more resistance then try to go faster. The outcome is that the resistance when rowing is infinite and infinitely variable.

A1 Performance Monitor

The WaterRower Classic is outfitted with an A1 Performance Monitor. The A1 Monitor includes QuickStart functionality and displays a variety of Intensity and Distance Units. In addition, the monitor features programmable Time and Distance workouts.
