The remanufacturing/reconditioned/refurbishing process is a process in which a piece of commercial strength equipment or cardio equipment is restored very similarly to a classic car. Simpler processes, which can yield a less impressive finished product are typically know as serviced and cleaned, which people opt for this process due to cost savings.
+ The item to be remanufactured is diagnostically tested for any system flaws. This insures that any parts or systems not functioning to the manufacturer specifications are labeled for repair or replacement.
+ Strength equipment gets sandblasted and powder coated with new enamel that is baked on to restore it to the original factory finish.
+ Re-build motors, rollers (bearings) and elevation systems.
+ The piece is then reassembled with new parts, belts, decks, and hardware as needed to match new equipment specifications.
+ Refinish exterior with paint, new vinyl graphics and stickers, etc.
+ Finally, the piece is diagnostically tested by major manufacturer certified specialists to insure performance. All remanufactured units leave in perfect working order and are guaranteed by Gym Tech.
Our remanufacturing process is second to none. We have a team of highly trained technicians who insure that every machine has been remanufactured to the highest degree.
How long does it take for delivery?
Some items as quickly as 1 week, but usually most items ship with 2-3 week, some orders may take longer depending on the piece of equipment and quantity ordered. Premier Gym Equipment Inc. DBA Gym Tech wants to make the delivery of your fitness equipment convenient, fast, and easy!
Gym Tech offers reasonable shipping rates through our network of common carriers that motor freight or air freight product over to your location. Most shipments are delivery curbside to your door (unless otherwise requested.) They will not bring the machine indoors and will not remove any packaging materials. These options are available for an extra fee.
You have an option for a slightly higher price is a professional White Glove Van Line carrier which will blanket wrap and carefully move each item by hand. We often utilize the same carriers and teams which make the factory deliveries for Life Fitness, Precor, Star Trac, and Cybex. Our White Glove Van Lines deliver and setup your equipment inside your home, commercial fitness center, corporate gym or office.
Flooring: cardio mats, weight room mats and/or gym mats are typically delivered in approximately 1 week. Rolled rubber flooring takes between 1 -2 weeks for production and/or custom cuts and up to 1 week in transit for a total of about 2-3 weeks for actual delivery. UPS or FedEx are used for smaller orders and common carriers are used for more sizable weight room mats and rolled rubber orders.
How do we handle warranty issues?
All new commercial fitness equipment is covered by a factory warranty and serviceable through the manufacturer and their national network or independent service providers. Remanufactured/reconditioned/refurbished fitness equipment coverage is coordinated through Gym Tech and our national database of local service providers. Technicians are available in most areas.
What kind of warranty do we provide?
At Gym Tech, we stand behind our product 100%. Nearly everything we sell is backed by a warranty, and we put that in writing! Unfortunately, because of the variety of products we have, it is very difficult to list the specific products and their respective warranties.
Most remanufactured/reconditioned/refurbished commercial strength equipment has a 1 Year Parts Warranty.
Most remanufactured/reconditioned/refurbished commercial cardio equipment has a 1 Year Parts & 1 Year Labor Warranty.
Most used/certified pre-owned/serviced & cleaned commercial cardio and strength equipment comes with a standard 30 or 90 days parts warranty only.
Some Products do vary so please confirm warranty coverage. Cardio equipment must be supplied with proper power (voltage and amperage) as outline in the manufacturer specifications, most commercial treadmills require a dedicated line of 15-20 amps.

Are all types of commercial fitness equipment and products offered?
Most items are found in a full service fitness are available through Gym Tech (not all are pictured, listed and/or itemized in this website.) Gym Tech specialized in providing customized packages to both existing and "start-up" fitness facilities and can fill nearly every need.
Where can I find more information about leasing programs for my business?
Gym Tech has developed a great business relationship with many leasing and financing companies for businesses. You can view these companies in the Leasing & Financing page.
Are lease programs available for commercial fitness equipment or residential equipment being placed in a home?
The leasing programs we have available are only available as business solutions and are currently not available for residential clients. Gym Tech is a vendor with a large number of sources for business finance but do not offer programs for personal/residential use at the moment.
What brands of new and remanufactured commercial fitness equipment do we offer?
Here at Premier Gym Equipment Inc. DBA Gym Tech we provide new commercial fitness equipment by many brands but the distribution of new equipment may be limited to certain territories by each individual manufacturer. Please call for the availability of new equipment brands in your area. Nationally and Internationally known and established brand are the focus for remanufactured equipment. Some brands of interest are Life Fitness, Precor, Star Trac, Stairmaster, SportsArt, Icarian, Flex, Tectrix, Trotter, Cybex, Body Masters, Paramount, and many more!
Does Gym Tech Ship Internationally, and Where?
Gym Tech Ships All Over The World! Premier Gym Equipment Inc. DBA Gym Tech has provided New/Remanufactured/Reconditioned/Refurbished/Used fitness equipment to facilities in Asia, South America, Middle East, Europe, and in Africa. We can arrange freight, coordinate containers (all sizes) or simply ship to a stateside freight forwarder specified by the client.
