Key Features
Low step-through design
Simply step through the large open area to get on or get off the NuStep safely and easily. Low clearance of just 4" (10 cm) allows users of almost any function level to swing their legs through without difficulty
Smooth stepping motion
Enjoy the ultra quiet operation and smoother stepping motion of NuStep's new belt drive train. This innovative system avoids the noise of typical exercise machines and offers a smooth ride at any stepping rate.
Ergonomic body position
NuStep product architecture is built around a Human Factors optimized exercise position. Feel the difference in the relative position of the seat, hands, and feet, which remain ergonomically consistent as the NuStep is adjusted to accommodate almost any user.
15 levels of resistance
Begin your exercise transformation at lower levels or challenge yourself with the power of increased resistance with 15 workload levels and a range of 5 to 1400 watts. Versatile and challenging for everyone from deconditioned or disabled users to elite athletes.
Large ergonomic seat
Experience greater comfort and better support with the large ergonomic seat, which includes 18" of seat width and a contoured back. Users with back injuries, chronic pain, weight issues and many other conditions will benefit greatly from the ease of use and support of a comfortable, seated exercise position.
360° seat swivel with locking intervals
Swivel safely and easily with an all new seat design. The NuStep seat now rotates 360° and locks at 45° intervals, making it safer and easier for users with chronic conditions to start enjoying the benefits of life transforming exercise
18" of seat adjustment
Use the lever located conveniently under the front of the NuStep seat to move the seat forward or backward up to 18" to accommodate users from 4'6" (137 cm) to 6'7" (200 cm) tall
Contact heart rate handles
Grab onto the convenient hand grips beside the NuStep seat to register contact heart rate and monitor your progress during workouts. The grips provide an accurate heart rate and transmit the readings to the NuStep display console.
Easy release arm locks
Grab onto the large levers to experience how easy it is to adjust the NuStep arms with our new arm locks. No dial turning is required, and the oversized levers make it simple for users of all function levels to release the arms or lock them in place
Ergonomic hand grips
Grab the hand grips on the NuStep handles and you will feel the difference in greater ergonomic comfort and support for varying hand positions. The contoured design makes it easy to grip the NuStep handles and enjoy an effective upper body workout.
Variable hand grip distance
A breakthrough in design innovation, the distance between the NuStep hand grips increases automatically as the arms are adjusted to greater lengths. The angled arm design allows this variability and improves comfort and ergonomic consistency, particularly for taller users.
18" of arm adjustment
Use the easy release arm locks and move the arms forward or backward up to 18" to accommodate users from 4'6" (137 cm) to 6'7" (200 cm) tall.
Large, cushioned foot pedals
Gain the benefits of a new foot pedal design that offers a wider, cushioned surface with a soft heel cup to secure the foot and a dirt slot for cleanliness. These new pedals make stepping more comfortable and accommodate users of almost any foot size, including those with casts or orthotic boots.
Color LCD display
Enjoy vivid color resolution and experience the ease of reading workout data with the new 7" LCD on the NuStep T5 models. Numbers and words are large, and backlighting makes the screen bright and easy to read for tracking your exercise progress.
Quick start with no button press required
Even with an all new display console, it is as simple as ever to use a NuStep with the new quick start mode that does not require any button pressing. Just get on and go! The display console will power up and begin tracking your workout data as soon as you start NuStepping.
Comprehensive workout data
You can track and monitor your progress with comprehensive workout data on the NuStep display console. Steps per minute, calories burned, time, distance, watts, METS, and heart rate are among the data now available on the T5 models. Data can also be tracked for up to 200 users or workout sessions, and results can be exported via USB to a flash drive and to a spreadsheet application on your computer.
Eight workout programs
The new display from NuStep will keep you engaged for many hours of beneficial exercise through eight distinct workout programs: quick start, manual mode, pace partner, and five hill profiles. These programs make exercise fun and engaging for users of all function levels
